LifeLine Zululand provides counselling, psychosocial support, community outreach and public engagement services across the Zululand District.

These Terms & Conditions apply to our website, our programmes and our premium-rated SMS shortcode services.

By using our website or participating in any SMS service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Our Services

LifeLine Zululand offers:

• 24-hour telephonic counselling
• Trauma debriefing
• Victim empowerment services (GBV & child protection)
• HIV/AIDS support and referrals
• Community awareness and prevention programmes
• Crisis intervention
• Online and in-person psychosocial support
• Public nomination and voting campaigns (Beacon of Hope)

All services are free of charge, except premium-rated SMS services.

3. Premium-Rated SMS Shortcode Service

3.1 General SMS Donation Line (Ongoing)

LifeLine Zululand operates a permanent SMS donation line to support its programmes.

• Sending an SMS with the designated keyword to the shortcode constitutes a voluntary donation.
• Each SMS is a separate donation.
• Standard network charges may apply. Free SMSs do not apply.
• Donations are non-refundable.
• Funds are used to support LifeLine Zululand’s operational and programme needs.
• This donation line remains active beyond the campaign period.

3.2 LifeLine Zululand SMS Competition – Bonamanzi Getaway (Ends 18 February 2026)

LifeLine Zululand is running an SMS-based competition giving participants a chance to win a trip to Bonamanzi Game Reserve valued at R7,000.00.

• How to enter:

  • SMS the keyword “LifeLine – First Name” (e.g. LifeLine – Thabo) to 38021.

  • Cost: R30.00 per SMS.

  • Each SMS counts as one entry into the competition.

  • Participants may enter multiple times to increase their chances of winning.

  Important information:

  • Network and administration fees may apply.

  • Free SMSs do not apply.

  • Competition period: 14 January to 18 February 2026 at 23:59.

  • SMSs received after the closing date will be processed as donations only and will not qualify as competition entries.

  • SMS submissions are non-refundable.

  • Network or delivery delays are not the responsibility of LifeLine Zululand.

  • The winner will be selected through a random draw and contacted using the details provided via SMS.
